I have the pushback B742 panel setup okay, but when i load it...the panel state is on dark cockpit status. The freeware doesn't even provide a start engine procedures.
I need like the engine is starting so i can take off and enjoy the IGS setup.

thanks,
Kin M.

When your 747-200 is Cold and Dark and you don't want to go thru the procedures to get the plane started and properly configured to fly, you can cheat and do this: With the 747-200 C &D, hit ALT, then AIRCRAFT, choose any default MSFS plane, (like the Cessna Skylane) hit SHIFT + E. That will start the airplane. Hit ALT again and select AIRCRAFT. Choose whatever Ready For Pushback plane of your choice, and that's it. Your plane is up and running.

RFP comes with a 250+ page pdf file manual that MUST be printed out and LEARNED to properly fly this plane. It took me 2 hours to just get the 4 engines running the first time I tried it. You are missing out of all of the fun in the learning process of trying to master 'the whale." If you want an easy (but not realistic) 747 to fly, use the default planes in your sim. RFP is an extremely complicated aircraft. SHIFT + E won't ever start this plane!

Tried that and doesn't work..........

I have PMDG & LVLD and know how to start from cold cockpit with procedures.
I do this things as much as realistic, but downloading a freeware (used to be payware) add on without a documentation will not make life easier.

I am using one right now from AVSIM, but that pushback has more features. See below screen shot...

Thanks,
Kin M.

[quote="Kin Matsamura"]Tried that and doesn't work..........

I set up my 742 cold and dark, then did what I told you to do about switching aircrafts and it worked for me. :?:

Send me your email address and I'll send you the manuals off of my CD. It will probably take 5 emails to you to get the whole thing. My email is: flowdripstain@comcast.net

We'll get you up and flying with Ernie's awesome gauges quick as a bunny!

Why don't we do this instead. Send me your home address and i'll mail you a copy of the paid version of Ready For Pushback. It comes with the manuals, training videos, takeoff calculator, fuel planner, cargo and pax loaders and Classis S Combo which is like having a co-pilot and engineer on board calling out the checklists and so on.

If you own Active Camera (http://www.anticyclone.be/) you can walk around the outside of the plane for your pre flight checklist and you can walk all around the inside of the plane, even upstairs to first class with this little program.

BTW That panel doesn't look at all like the ones that come with the CD version, which has both a tapes and analog panel versions.

That's not Pushback 747 panel, it is someone else from avsim.com.
I am using it...while i am trying to figure out to start the engine on the pushback panel.

I can email you the Ready For Pushback manuals or send you a copy of the payware RFP that has all of the above features that help to tame this beast by snail mail. Let me know what you want.
