Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I don't often post here, but have been a long time user of FSBuild - an excellent programme!

I'm currently using FSBuild 2.3.1 build 209.

I have been given the real world Los Angeles-London routing (KLAX-EGLL) used by British Airways over the last seven days. We at British Airways Virtual are having an "Overnighters" event where some 40 of us are flying out of LA overnight to London in real time on the VATSIM network, flying the real world BA278 service which leaves LA at 23:50hrs UK time (15:50 local).

I wanted to compare the routes over the last seven days to look and see how much they vary. The idea was to recreate them in FSBuild and output them to FSNAV and elsewhere to study them.

I have the latest AIRAC from you (0813) and have installed it and updated the NAV Databases.

Trying to put only just the first two routes into FSBuild fails! It crashes the programme!
"... FSBuild has encountered a problem and needs to close ..."

I tried totally removing the programme and all traces of it. I then re-installed it, updated it to version 2.2, then up to 2.3.1 then re-set the FS and the add-on paths in the SETTINGS menu. Essentially a did a new full install. FSBuild opens and loads normally.

Second attempt to build the route also failed. Here is the first route flown on the 15th JAN by the real BA:-

KLAX runway 24L was set with the LOOP4 SID. DAG was the first waypoint inserted into the flight route field after the SID. EGLL runway 27R was selected and the BNN1B STAR was set after NUGRA. Flight Level 310, departure at 2350 and the PMDG 747-400 was selected (aircraft performance file installed) as the aircraft to use.

Output to FSNAV, FS2004 only selected.

Selected the BUILD option - programme requested shutdown....

Any ideas on what might be causing this? Is it something incorrect in the route plan? I tried shortening the Atlantic waypints to the more normal version (5550N instead of 5500N 05000W for example) but that did not work.

Okay,

Just tried to do a simple Manchester to Gatwick route plan (EGCC-EGKK) and noticed that EGCC comes up with the old runway 24 (not the current runway 23 which was changed a year or two ago).

Also, no SIDs show for Manchester.

I check the FSBAPTs file and the entry for Manchester (EGCC) has runways 23L and R and 05L and right - but it also shows 24L and R and 06L and R which are not there now.

Is there a problem with AIRAC 0813 for FSBuild?

Sorry - just trying to come up with answers here.

The CTD problem was fixed with the 2372 hotfix.

Use the latest Hotfix (2.3.7.5.2).
