Is the "?" part of your path in the above post?

I would think, if your path is correct, then VISTA is saying FSBuild does not have the "administrator's (your)" permission to write a file (flight plan) into your directory.

You need to make sure the folder FLIGHTPLANS is in your Navdata folder in the Level D Simulations folder. Ken

I do not know if the problem the poster had was ever solved but there is one main reason for this type of error message.

Vista is set up by default to be very security conscious and unless you have the permissions set up just right (both file related and user related) you will not be able to do many of the things you could under XP.

If I get this type of problem I do one of three things (i) I temporarily switch off user account control or (ii) change the account control settings for the file and directory path concerned so that as the “user” I have the right to make the changes to the file and/or write to directory needed or (iii) make sure I am only reading from or writing to those folders and directories of my Vista system that already allow for maximum permissions.
