What I did, was climbing with A/P in ECON mode. This means, the speed is held constant according the schedule (250/280/M0.7) by changing pitch, resulting in a certain ROC. But this resulting ROC will vary with weight. The FF is nearly the same for all weights and depends only on the altitude.
My only question mow is how FSBuild is calculating the fuel burn for the climb. The [CLIMB] section in the prf file has ROC and fuelburn. Which of the parameters are taken for the calculation in the flightplan? Is the ROC?
In this case I will put lower figures in the prf file, to be on the safe side.
You are right, the 4 min difference in climb is appr. 200kg more fuelburn, so it is indeed not to much.
I also understand, that a matrix like in the cruise section makes no sense, since the FF is more or less the same.
