I've been having a few problems with the Smiths FMS & HW B737 ND display in v1.5. They are;

1. Using LNAV and after the first waypoint, that is not in a SID, almost any change I make to the FMS will prevent the aircraft from allowing for wind while tracking a waypoint in the plan. The heading bug reverts to the direct track which causes the aircraft to be blown off course if the wind is strong enough. I have noticed that changing the target climb speed, altitude changes on the legs page or selecting a STAR will all cause this to occur. Maybe other changes/edits might do it too.
It's behaving as if I have turned the LNAV off then then turned it back on again, only in these cases I have not done so.

2. From 360 to 344 degrees are shown as negative.

I use the Boeing ND & smiths FMS.

Looked some more today, and was finally able to re-create the LNAV issue. Will include the fix in the upcoming patch.

The negative heading issue occured on a flight between YSSY (Sydney,Australia) and YBCG (Gold Coast/Coolangatta, Australia). Probably between intersections Entra & Banda. It happens whenever I fly that route. Much of that flight is flown a few degrees either side of north.

It is only the active waypoint that has the issue. After the problem occurs and I fly to & cross the active wp, the remaining way points are ok. The problem is that when the FMS is edited the FMS no longer instructs the AP to correct for xwinds from my position until the active waypoint. The heading bug immediately swings straight to the the direct track to the next way point. This is a problem in high xwinds. Edits to the flight plan such as adding a new waypoint or selecting an existing waypoint as active, changing the altitude settings on the legs page, target speed change or adding a STAR will trigger it.
Now I only make edits in the FMS just before any active waypoint. That way there's not enough time to be blown off track.

I think I have found the neg heading issue as well.

Its going negative in LNAV mode when 'TRK' is displayed. As it is the wind corrected heading. Winds to the left are negative and it was simply adding it, displaying a negative result if the current heading is a low number.

I have made a hot for for these two items.

Note: This hotfix will not work unless you already have the full version installed.

Thanks for the fix. Unfortunately the LNAV & negative headings are still as before the fix.

I tried using the 1.51 upgrade from SimMarket onto 1.42, but all it installs is the documentation for some reason.
