Hi!
I have just bought and downloaded this great SG1 package, installed the xxxfs9.exe file and xxupdate142.exe files into my FS9 folder.
I have taken one of my favorite aircrafts and panels and have included the SMITHS FMS, the 737 MFD and the VNAV and LNAV buttons and the TCAS Logic gauge to this "test" panel for a A320 aircraft... and then run FS9..
All seems to work fine, but I get some strange things in the FMS's display ..
In the FMS, the IDENT page doesn't give any information :
- No aircraft name (Model)
- No Nav Data informations (line empty)
- FMS software informations (OP Program) are: 296485 - 11 -07
is it correct? November 07, it seems very "old" no?
How can I know wich is the version I use? It should be 1.42.
My aircraft's name is "A320_AF" in my FS9 folder, but no name in the INDEX page of the FMS ..
The FMS doc says that the name of the aircraft is the ModelId from the aircraft.cfg file... but there is no such ModelId parameter in my aircraft.cfg file. I use FS9 and the parameter I have is:
model= ..... but it is the .mdl file of my aircraft... nothing to see with the name of the plane...
I have created a A320_AF.cfg file in the isg /aircraft folder (copied from the original ISG B737_400.cfg file) and I have put some infos in it like V1=120, VR=130 and V2=140 or flaps=15 values, but the TAKEOFF page of the FMS shows empty lines for these values.
I have put also the flightplans folder path "C:\ My Documents\ xxxxxxxxxxxx" into the isg.cfg file, and I can see all my FS flightplans in the FMS Flightplans page, so, it shows that the parameters from the isg.cfg file are correctly read when loading FS ...
I guess there is some problem somewhere in my config, but I don't know where... and as I did not find any installation manual of the application or examples (I am total newbie with ISG!).. I started by installing ISG directly into C:\Program Files because it is the default install path of the installer

))
After, I understood my mistake that ISG must be installed in the FS9 directory..
Also, what about the "5th element"? Has it to be put at the end of every ISG1 gauge or only one in the panel.cfg file? If only one, which one? MFD, FMS, Nav button????
Is there a parameter to put in the isg.cfg file to give the restrictions like 250 knots below 10000 feet?
Thanks for your help
