Yes, I have read this part of your documentation about these readonly variables. It is why I asked about the variables to control the Mode, the Range, and different switches used by the EFIS control panel without displaying it (I don't know where to put it in my Airbus panel!!)
I would like to make a .cab gauge file including the Range and Mode rotary buttons and the Airport, WPT, RTE data, etc.. switches to include into my Airbus panels with the correct button and switch bitmaps and at the right place, without background bitmaps as it already exists. I would simply want to have stand alone "Airbus look and feel" buttons.
For example, I guess that when using your Control Panel when clicking on the ARPT button, you change the value of a variable from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0 to tell the ND that it has to display or not to display the airports?
So, without changing anything in your server gauge, I just need the name of this variable to switch on or off with my gauge's button the display of the Airports in the ND.
I already did this stuff many times with different panels, and here, just missing the variable names used with your ND to control it remotely via your Control panel.
Be sure that if I do it, I'll post the .cab file in your forum for the isg's community
