The FAA seems not to have all that many preferred routes between CYYZ [Toronto Pearson International Airport] and many cities that U.S. airlines fly to/from directly from/to Toronto. For example, Delta flies non-stop from Salt Lake City to/from Toronto daily. KSLC-CYYZ and CYYZ-KSLC.
Does anyone know if there ARE Preferred Routes for these 'international' flights that the FAA lumps in with domestic flights in many cases?
