How do I get the planes autopilot to actually follow the route planned in the FMC?

I have the ISG1 installed on the Virtavia C-17, and I can open up the Smith FMC or use the MCU and load a flight plan, choose departures, approaches, routes and activate them, but when I take off and engage autopilot, nothing happens there is no heading selected, or altitude. How do I set up the autopilot to follow the FMC route guidance (heading, speed, altitude, and change radio frequencies for NAV radios if possible) automatically?

Also, how can I add the V1 and V2 and other bits like that in the Smith FMC??
