This is a very good aircraft with excellent flight modelling. The panel is out-dated these days and since I want to keep flying the old bird, I need to upgrade.
If I replace the Stone panel with one of the two isg panel retrofits designed for the FFS Saab 340 is it likely to work?
Thanks.

I struggled all day to merge one of the retrofits but got nowhere, predictably. :(

This is Mike Stones panel. (I use a widescreen monitor in FS9).

The outlined equipment appears inactive.

It is a very passable model of the real thing but the real SF34 these days sports an FMS. I suspect it's a Smiths but I do not know for sure. I would like to add a Smiths FMS popup and MCU to work off the DU_1000_EHSI_NB. I realise there's not much room for this gauge but Stones's layout is prototypical. A more up-to-date HSI would gild the lily! I've copied the panel.cfg below in the the hope that someone will help.

Thanks.

John

Great stuff, randy! I'm working on it now. I got rid of the inactive gauge and plan to place Heading and Course selectors in there. The photo shows a Hdg selector from a Dash 8 - with no background .bmp it looks terrible - it works though!

Thanks!

This is my best effort for the Stones Saab 340 (FS9). I took randy's advice about the EFS50 series as more suitable for this panel.
I'm not happy with the CRS and HDG selectors but I couldn't find any better 'stand alone' types.
Also, I would prefer a popup GPS with a permanent TCAS gauge in there, or even a weather gauge. Suggestions welcome.
