Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi Mr. Ernie,

would it be possible to get the 2 functions in 1 MCU without using the FMC:
1) Destination airport ICAO = OK
2) APT Runways - NOT SHOWING without using the FMC
3) RWY choice not possibile using MCU as standalone

When selecting a Dest-APT with the FMC the MCU is showing the DEST-Runways and when confirmed the HSI is showing the Runway approach on the HSI.

The MCU is a very useful Instrument and could be used for many planes, but it should work without FMC for APT-RWY's based on the MCU Input Destination Airport.

You can indeed select the runway in the MCU without the FMC.

Enter the ICAO code of the Airport using the arrow keys on the left to scroll through the alphabet.

Then press 'Enter' and the runway information for that airport will be displayed.

Also note that if you load a flight plan into the MCU it works just as if it was loaded into the FMC.

In fact if you open the FMC you will see it there.
