Hallo Ernie,
I have a big problem with the Smiths FMS (version1.6):
After loading an existing flight plan and adding an extra waypoint (Navaid, Wpt, or User Wpt), the FMS automatically flies a Direct To to this newly added Wpt and skips all the legs between start and new wpt ! The skipped wpts are still visible on the mapdisplay but not anymore in the legs page of the FMS.

This issue does not happen with the GNSXLS-FMS, it nicely flies the correct legs with the new wpt from begiining to end.
So, to overcome this i had to add the GNSXLS together with the Smiths for adding wpts during flight and then the Smiths also adds the user-wpts to his legs-page.

Can't tell if this was also with version 1.52

Any toughts?

Ernie. I notice with the Smith FMC inserting a waypoint erases all previous waypoints, when entered in the legs page. If the additional waypoint is inserted in the RTE page it puts it in sequence correctly!

This issue is Fixed and uploaded to simmarket.

Re-download and run the 1.6 the Installer again to implement the fix.

I noticed also it does not show the new waypoint when entered on the 2nd+ LEGS page, even though the MOD text, and EXEC button is highlighted. But pressing the EXEC page does appear to correctly insert the new waypoint.

Will add the latter to the to-do list.

Hoi Ernie,
I reinstalled version 1.6 from simmarket as suggested and had a flight from Christchurch to Brisbane, changed a few waypoints in between in Smiths FMS and all seems to be ok. The changed plan was nicely flown.

I looked in my simmarket account but could not find any updater 1.6.
In my account is only for download ISG-FSX.exe and ISG_FSX-V1.51.exe

what can I do to get the latest updater 1.6
