Project Open Sky ERJ-145 /w virtual cockpit.

This ISG retrofit modification I found posted over at flightforum.ch forum.

This also uses parts of Bill Grawbowski's ERJ panel.

The install can be a little tricky if you've never installed POSKY models before. But the results are worth it I think. The night VC panel view looks really good.






If you don't understand German, here are the steps.

1) Go to the POSKY downloads page

http://www.projectopensky.com/downloads-index.php

2) Scroll down to the bottom where the ERJ-145 section is, and select one of the regions (ie Asia, Europe etc).

3) Download one of the ERJ145 files, and extract them to yout FS/Aircraft folder.

4) Return to the POSKY download page, and this time select the 'Model packages' link for the ERJ-145.

5) download one of the 'Virtual Cockpit' models, and extract the files and folders to a temporary folder.

6) Go to your temp folder and copy the...

'model.vc'
'panel.bill'
folder to your 'FS/Aircraft/os_erj145..' etc folder (ie the folder you
extracted the model files too).

7) From your temp folder copy the files in the /texture folder to your models texture folder.

7a) If you want the VC night textures, go to the POSKY ERJ model package
page...

And downlioad the VC night textures, extract those files to your aircraft's /texture folder.


8 ) Open the models aircraft.cfg file and change these settings for the aircraft.

change

'panel=' to 'panel=bill'

change

'model=' to 'model=vc'

9) - Go into the panel.bill folder, and change the panel.cfg file with the .cfg code below.

That should do it, hopefully everything worked out.

Note: I've made a couple of slight adjustments in this panel.cfg file. Like removing the MFD control panel, and adjusting the position of the MFD in VC slightly.

For the life of me, I can't get the VC to work. The 2d panel looks great. I must have installed and reinstalled 5 times. I've followed your instructions and before that, followed the instructions over at Posky. Here is a shot of my aircraft.cfg and panal.bill panel .cfg. Ernie a know your a busy man. If you get a chance maybe you can have a look.
