Thanks, Randy. I managed to merge the POSKY 737-600 with a simplified version of Andy Karlstetter's 2D panel. I replaced his PFD with the ISG B777 and his ND with the ISG Boeing version. This modified panel also has ISG pop-up FMS, MCU, EFIS windows; AK's combined radio/throttle panel; default GPS, map etc. AK's overhead panel is rudimentary but a lot better visually than the default 737 version. The modified panel will only work in FS9 and there is no virtual cockpit.
Randy, when I referred to the VSI I meant the 'button'. It doesn't seem to do anything. The Vertical Speed setting gauge near top right, which is linked to the PFD, only works when ALT HOLD is active i.e the green light is on.
The first screenie shows the aircraft in the initial climb out with the ALT HOLD showing green. I was confused by this - in fact the ALT HOLD in this panel is more like a LVL CHANGE button. I can and should fix the background bitmap.
The second shows the plane level at 6000ft again with the ALT HOLD showing green - at this point a LVL CHANGE button would go off.
To change the way these buttons work would require coding changes I guess (XML?). But once you get the hang of it, it all works well and is consistent.
This modified panel can be used for the POSKY 737-700 and I imagine also for the -800 and -900 although I've not tested these last two.
