Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Ernie,

I had a slight problem on a route from VTBD to VHHH. I was using Auto Generate with the following results.

"VTBD AGEDO B204 SRE W3 RT NODAN R220 GOC XAC W28 SAKIT A1 ELATO ASTRA VHHH"

As you can tell it's only about 4000 miles out of the way.

Any help would be appreciated.

I encountered a similar problem with FSBuild. What I discovered was the program was looking at outdated "Stored Routes." The solution was to insure the "SR" button was unchecked. This will stop the program from looking at the old routes stored in the data base. This procedure has to be done each time a route is built or it will look at the stored routes every time as it is designed to do.
I would like to know how to turn this option "OFF" but have not found a way to do it. Maybe, Ernie can elighten us.

One way is to rename the "Stored Routes" folders found in the Categories listing.

Once the 'SR' button is pressed, it stays, down until you push it back up or restart the program.

It does not have to be reset every time you build a route.

The only place where I found a flightplan for VTBD-VHHH was in fsb_fplans.txt. I would have thought it would have been in fsb-fplans3.txt with the other VTBD flight plans. The flight plan route appears valid, but does not look like what is showing in FSBuild with the "SR" button pushed. The plan will not pull up correctly and I suspect that is related to the *VTBD-VHHH naming. I'm not sure what the "Valadation Line" is. Needless to say FSBuild is not working correctly in relation to the VTBD-VHHH routing.
