Please can you make a Proline 21 .... that can be substituted into Carenado aircraft as well as others...

Thanks for replying Ernie... a lot of people would be very happy if their Carenado avionics worked properly. I, and a lot of others have substituted the Proline 21 FMC and ND display with the Flight 1 GTN750. This works quite well but it is almost impossible to get recent Airac cycles for this unit ( from Garmin they are same price as real world, very expensive)

Carenado have quite a few aircraft that use the Proline 21. Their version though also can't import Flightplans or save them and can't fly DTO outwith a flightplan and have a funky way of going Direct a waypoint in a flightplan. Their Proline 21 is also buggy with capturing IAS mode altitudes and other faults.

I have the Carenado's with Proline 21 -

Hawker 850xp Jet
Cessna Citation CJ2 Jet
Beechcraft Premier 1A Jet

there are other planes Carenado make with the Proline 21

These would be GREAT aircraft with a decent Proline 21 upgrade..... and I'm sure a LOT of people would be interested. Afterall there are virtually no decent Biz Jets in the Flightsim world and none for P3Dv4.

Thanks Ernie.... would be a real treat for users of these planes (and others) to be able to fly them more realistically and with latest Airacs and to be able to Save and Load Flightplans etc... I'm on P3Dv4 and I think 64bit is going to be the norm for most...One thing about Carenado though they are pretty good at the graphics.

I don't have much understanding of the methods of writing and developing the various FMC's Displays etc... but is it possible to make a kind of generic Proline 21 system (which I think it is anyway) and then just adjust the figures for the different aircraft that it's fitted to ?

Anyway that's for you to decide, I'm just grateful that you are going to have a look at the possibility of making it.
