Dear Ernie

It has been nearly 2 years since any new update. There still are quite some bugs in the current version which don't seem to get addressed...
Is the ISG Project abandoned? If so I feel compelled to stop using ISG and regret the fact that I actually put money into it...
I think there are a lot of users who feel the same way, we are kind of forgotten by the developer...
Could you please enlighten us to the current status of ISG?

Well, I agree that it would be nice to know if this product has been abandoned by Ernie, but I would disagree Diesel8 about regretting purchasing ISG1. I have thoroughly enjoyed using the product, even with the bugs it still has, and I don't feel compelled to stop using it at all.

Having said that, though, it would be nice to know where this product is going. Ernie, if you are moving on to other things, that's fine, it just would be nice to know the status of ISG1.

Unfortunately the work I've been doing for QualtyWings (QW787) has consumed most of my available
FlightSim time. As apparently a month has gone by before my reply to this.

So Apologies for not being around very often these days, all I can say is I've been really busy.

As far as the ISG1 product is concerned, we went waaaay further than what was planned.

If you could compare what was in the first release (Dec 2006) (the GNSXLS, the MCU, the EFS50 displays, and the P1000 MFD).
Then come afterwards the addition of the Smiths FMS, the Boeing ND, the TCAS, the MD11 style MFD, the A300 ND,and PFD,
the MD80 EHSI, and the C-17 style displays).

But I'm really having difficulty understanding why one would regret a purchase of a product that provides so much variety
for one price.

At this time I won't call it an abandoned product, because I always have some plans for it. But at this point I do consider
it a completed product.

Any work I do on ISG1 at this point is 'time permitting'.

I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy using this product. I don't know why Diesel8 regrets buying it! I disagree with him entirely. I have never regretted the money I invested in ISG1.

I appreciate you updating the status of the product.

I trust that you will continue to find success as you develop and work on projects that help us enjoy our hobby of flight-simming.

One bug in 1.85 was discussed in posts 2 and 3 here, I don't know if it was ever resolved. I eventually rolled back to a previous version to avoid it: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4729
