For some reason LNAV, VNAV, FMS, MCU and EFIS control buttons are missing from virtual cockpits. I have downloaded retrofit panels for CRJ700 and King Air and the buttons are available if I open the panel with FS Panel Studio. The buttons are also available at Boeing 717 2D cockpit. I can open gauges from View/instrument panel menu, but that’s not enough because LNAV and VNAV buttons are not available there. I’m using 5040x1050x32 resolution and sometimes this is a reason for problems. Please let me know, if you have any idea how to continue, thank you!

They are missing because unlike 2D panels. VC's need the modeller to place gauge surfaces in the VC to display gauges. You can only place gauges where the modeller has already placed a gauge surface.

So for VC's the only way to add a gauge is to place it where one gauge already exists. Since the modeller didn't leave a surface for an LNAV/VNAV button, oine cannot be added. If you wish to add the LNAV/VNAV buttons by choosing removing a gauge in the VC, that's up to you.

But we couldn't do this in our template/retrofits.

OK and thank you! It seems that the easiest way to do this is just to create new pop-up window for buttons. I already did that for VNAV button, however, do you know is it possible to connect all those buttons to single panel inside one pop-up window? I couldn’t find that from the forum, but if it is possible, I’m sure that someone has done that already.

please refer to panel.cfg editing tutorials for that matter.

you need to define multiple gauges like:

[WindowXX]
...
...
gauge00=..., x, y
gauge01=..., x, y

or you could edit xml gauges yourself and trigger the isg events like (L:isg_lnav_clicked, enum). Refer to xml gauge scripting and the isgsettings.pdf for that issue.
