Ok guys after a few hours plugging away at it ,i worked out that when i updated my airac i now seem to 2 txt files for each section, ie for the stars i have a file called isg_stars.txt and also one called stars.txt..
I then also noticed that my file isg_apts had VHHX listed but the file apts.txt did not and after adding it the FMC seems to accept VHHX and also the different stars i have entered,so thats fine i have worked out how to do that.
Still got a couple of questions 1 Am i able to input altitude restrictions using the star txt file or not ?? (as i notice in the isg settings pdf it says there not used in this release 1.8 i think i have)
2 i am trying to enter the stars for VHHX but am a bit stuck on how to enter the waypoints for rwy 3, heres the chart
the waypoints i dont know how to enter in the txt file are the ones for rwy31 at CH 50dme where all the stars turn for WHISKEY for example on the NOMAN arrival you pass NOMAN and head for CH until your 50dme from CH then you turn onto a heading 337 to IAF WHISKEY
on the chart that point is called CH133/D50 but there is no lat/lon co-ordinates for it ,so how would i enter this into the txt file?? is it even possible,i know it could be flown easy enough with this waypoint, but just wondered if i am missing something or not,i know it can be entered manually into the FMC as CH133/50
Again any help much appreciated
Regards Terry
