Dear all,
pls only one help in order use in the proper way the Smiths FMC with Vnav activated.
So the FMC is working good in LNAV following the flight plan etc, but I'm not be able to follow the Vnav.
For example I'm leaving from LIPQ (Italy) with the SID ROSKA6A: Ipino 3000 feet- Lagun 5000 feet - Roska FL070 feet (transition 6000 feet) then CHI/Vor at FL110.
Final flight level FL160.
So when I press on VNAV icon, the system automatically set on my autopilot the final FL160 speed 242 with V/S 1500.
So why it is happening?
I'm sure there is something wron on my action, maybe I don't know the exactly procedure to activate the Vnav mode.
Please help me... it is great... but I wish to have only a little guide step by step on how to set it.
The same on the arrival procedure with the STAR ...
Everytime I need to select with myself the altitude and vertical speed on the autopilot... no to hard, so I can enjoy as well but I wish to improve my knowledge on this beautiful FMC.
I hope to receive a little example to be applied on my flight.
