Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Sorry if there is a post on this already but I did not find it!

Is there any kind of night-lighting option for the Smiths FMS (and the MD11 EFIS Ctrl) gauges? I know that (just like everything else) they get brighter when the cockpit floodlight (panel light var) is set but what about when this is off but the power is on etc etc??
Is it possible, for example, as a future development, to have a dim overall lighting or better still some backlit lettering on these? Currently I see that they just look dark if the panel light is off - hard to find the buttons when dimmed down for approach! In terms of code I can't see it being any harder than introducing another bitmap layer above the buttons but below the 'mouse layer' (but I don't actually know about C gauges, only XML)...

Right, thanks for the honest reply! Could the situation look better if somebody (me - I'd just need a copy of the original bitmaps in the gauges and some time) offered to make some bitmaps - just for the FMS and EFIS controllers? I assume that like in XML you just need an overlay bitmap with RGB0,0,0 for the area that should be transparent... Then it would just be a question of coding them in?
Alternatively then just a small code tweak to make a version in which the whole gauge is Bright="yes" (or whatever tag you add in C) when power is on, rather than linking that to the cabin light? No new bitmaps needed for that at all ;)
