Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I wish I had a picture to show you, but essentially it goes like this...I edit my panel cfg to include the B777_PFD_NB on my panel - however, when I start FS2004, I get an error message saying something to the effect of reinstalling ISG. If this were consistent for all gauges, I'd say the problem might be mine. However - the ISG Airbus PFD works just fine in my Overland A320 mod, as do the other gauges. It seems as though its limited to just the 777 PFD...

I'm using FS2004, with a Vista x64 OS...what am I doing incorrectly (if anything at all)??

The error message is the result of an incomplete Install. Either because the installer
failed to complete, or some sort of system previlege requirement prevented the installer
from implementing all the necssary components.


So the thing to do is run a full Install again.

I performed all of the steps you'd mentioned - apologies for not being through with the description of the problem. As stated, the *only* ISG gauge that appears to be affected is the B777_PFD. All the others work fine (I have the Airbus counterpart installed in all my Airbus planes, as it is a great gauge!)

Bumped...so that this topic doesn't get shelved...

Again - I've done the re-install, and it is still not working.

The issue is the same.

If the message is displaying something preventing the necessary settings
from being made by the Installer.

Have you tried running the Installer as the Administrator ?

Sorry - same error here... Only with the 777 PFD - the other ISGsim gauges seem to work fine... I tried the installer as "Administrator" - noy joy... No errors returned from the install process...
+Vista 32 fully patched
+FS9 fully patched
+UAC = OFF

UPDATE: I also went back - removed ISGsim - downloaded and installed the ISGsim 1.51 version - then reinstalled the version 1.6 over the top... This didn't work either... One thing I did note was that the 1.51 install prompts for a reboot right after install and the 1.6 does not... Could there be a prerequisite from some previous package that we are missing ??? What is unique about the triple seven gauge compared to all the others ??? Do you have a debug mode for the installer so we can see what is failing ???

I also tried the FSX installer - as a while back I remember you had a problem with a missing resource in your FS9 installer and that was the fix provided me - no joy on that as well...

Add the MCU gauge or the FMS to the panel (or as a popup window) and that message will go away.

It only occurs when the B777 PFD is the 'only' ISG gauge installed.

It will be corrected for the next update.
