Haven't had a new one since 1002, just wondering if there's one coming?

Cheers guys!

There will be one for 1005.

This hopefully will be the last one before we make the switch to Navigraph.

There will also be a 1.7 update with it, as we're made some changes in the data format.

Regards.
Ernie.

Any info on whats going to be in 1.7?

For me the free nav data updates have been THE reason for ISG1.
(Even an update every 4 or 6 months would be ok.)
If I wanted to buy that data, I would have continued to use VasFMC.
Looks like 1.6 is going to be my first AND last version. :?
If I only knew this half a year ago, I would have spent the money directly in navigraph datafiles for two years. :-(

Hi,

I personally appreciate the step towards to Navigraph. Most of the users have already several addons and therefore use this service already. I hope, this will also be available for FSBuild.

This has been pushed back to at least September.

It just didn't work out logistically with Richard preparing to go on a long vacataion.

So we will work on it again after he returns from vacation.

So there will be at least 1 or 2 more updates before we switch to Navigraph.

Regards.
Ernie.

Ernie, question for you regarding the Nav updates.. just yesterday I flew from west Texas to the Bahamas in the TMII using a self-built ISG1 retrofit, and Im flying back again tonight. At least 2-3 major VORs were not listed in the latest nav database, requiring me to use closeby intersection points. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

What 'major' VOR's were not listed in the database ?

Regards.
Ernie.

Ernie, it must be something with my installation of the latest navdatabase.. perhaps I missed a file, because in my simulation I was missing VRB, ORL, and about 2 others. However, I just cracked open your latest navdat file (1005) and manually searched for these points, and found them both.

Perhaps there is something I am doing wrong in the update process?
