Hello,
I'm using the Smith's FMS and I know that you can preset things like the V speeds and Ref numbers so that you don't have to do it manually.
From what I can tell from the documentation, there are several steps to doing it but I'm muddling around a little uncertainly here.
First, I entered the V speeds into the plane's cfg file under the Reference Speeds section (I was looking for the Performance section but there wasn't one);
v1=120 VR=125 V2=145
Then, I believe one needs to put the aircraft type as the 5th parameter after the entry of the guage, so in my case, the pop up for the Smith' s FMS reads:
gauge00=isg1!SMITHS_FMS, 3,5, 300, 560, OSBoeing737-900
I'm not certain about the name here--I took it from the sim=OSBoeing737-900 in the cfg file.
Is that all there is to it? (I'm not seeing any v speeds being created in the FMS)
Or do you need to create a new file in the main ISG folder?
