I added a performance file for a 737-300 as per the instructions above and while the file generation worked fine, VNAV still controls ascent at 1500 fpm from the time it's engaged at a couple of thousand feet, right to over 10,000 feet. Then, getting up to cruising level, the VS rises to way over 2000fpm, while chasing the TOC.
Isn't this the wrong way round? Shouldn't the rate of climb be steeper at lower levels, shallowing off as you approach the cruise? If so, what might I be doing wrong?
EDIT: Just read the ISG1 1.7 thread, and will try the technique indicated there.
