I'm off and running with creating waypoints, thanks to you.

I've tried to place the airport of Carcross (CFA4) in Canada but I'm not having much luck. Here is is the data I've put into the ISG airports text file:

Can you see where I've gone wrong?

Well, I put the space in it but I still get the airport showing up down near New Zealand (it's supposed to be in Canada). I took the specs from the AFCAD file and converted the lat and lons, dividing the number after the degrees by 60. So for instance, the airport center for Haines Junction is;

N60* 47.3500'
W137* 32.7333'

After converting, I get:
60.789167
-137.545555

Is this correct?

Here are the entries for two airports I put into the ISG airport file:

Haines Junction:

You were right about CFA4...your tip fixed that one.

I'm still having difficulties with CYHT though. Here's a screen that indicates the confusion between the FMS and the HSI:



And here is the entry from the file;

As you can see, the space is after the 040_---

No ideas?

I've gotten CFA4 to show up correctly but this airport is still 6500 miles southwest of where it should be.




Edit: I thought Carcross (CFA4) was fixed but now I'm showing it down near Tahiti like Haines Junction.

I can't fathom why the ISG text file doesn't accept these coordinates...I've placed them alongside other airports and every space and parameter is exactly like those in the stock AIRAC file.

I put the line I mentioned below for CYHT between CYHR and CYHU in the isg_apts.txt taken from the 0812 cycle update on the main page, and it put it in the right place (lat/lon) in the EFIS via the GNSXLS. It also works with Smiths and the Collins Proline MFD...
