Well, I got to work!
I posted this problem on the HNAC forum and Harald Nehring responded by suggesting that I should try replacing the following lines in the panel cfg file:
Replace:
gauge27=A306!glareshield, 343,210,681,119 // Complete Glareshield Panel
With:
gauge27=A306!glareshield_fsnav, 343,210,681,119 // Complete Glareshield Panel
That did the trick! My understanding is that they wanted to have the option of people being able to fly fsnav flight plans an thus added this feature. I tested it out last night briefly and sure enough, the aircraft would fly the LNAV from the ISG1 FMS using the NAV mode on the autopilot. However, I then could not get the auto throttle to work properly, but that might have been user error on my end.
Regards,
Robert
