Hi!

I just bought the GF-MCP Autopilot module.
Will ISG1 work with that one.

I.e, is the MS default autopilot altered in any way and will the GF module show the new settings that the FMC will "send" to the autopilot.

Sorry to dig up an almost 4 year old thread. But I searched and this is pretty much all I found.

Has any GoFlight users got ISG1 to work with their GoFlight hardware? I've owned ISG1 for about 3 hours and downloaded the Posky 777 panel and got it setup. But none of my GoFlight hardware is working. I read in this thread that ISG1 does not alter the default autopilot functionality so I'm not sure why all of a sudden my GoFlight gear is no longer working. The Posky 777 worked just fine before.

Now I know i need to spend a little more time tinkering with this. Just curious if any other GF users have it working? I guess if not, then I won't waste my time.

OK....must have been a fluke. When I started up my sim machine and loaded everything up all my GF gear was working as designed. So I loaded up the Posky T7 for a long return trip from EGLL to KDEN.

For those who use the GoFlight hardware, you understand what I'm saying. Most of us have had to steer clear of payware aircraft as developers haven't added functionality for external hardware devices. This meant we've had to stick with the default and freeware type models and thankfully Posky does (or did) make some nice looking aircraft. Just the interior was lacking the functionality of the payware models.

I purchased the iFly 737NG for FSX and fell in love with using the FMS. I then discovered the LevelD supported goFlight and purchased that awesome aircraft. Unfortunately I think most aircraft developers have ignored the Boeing 777 and there really isn't a quality payware model available at this time. I know several projects are under way.

This ISG1 from Ernie will allow me to get much, much more mileage from my Posky T7's. This is great. Now I just need to tinker and see if I can get the FMS to work with my VRInsight hardware CDU.
