Steve, look...
The example I gave is not what I base this on; it is provided as aan easily reproduced example so that Ernie (didn't think anyone else would be interested) can check for himself whether there is anything wrong there or not. I have known for a year that the FSBuild output I get is wrong, as it is indeed very apparent when you are trying to keep an accurate howgozit. I have repeatedly verified it, as since I started suspecting FSB distances were wrong I have routinely used other flightplanners to give the total trip distance for use when I calculate the total trip fuel (I use the flight planning tables and diagrams for fuel uplift determination, not FSB or any other planner), and the FSBuild values are always too low in comparison; not sometimes, but every single time. I can see it on every leg of every flight; if the FSB plan says I should be going 480 kts G/S and take 14 mins, and I'm actually doing 500 kts G/S but still take 15 mins, then something is obviously very wrong. But FSBuild is better than those others for generating the 'master flightplan' used for comparison in-flight, so I'd rather FSB was accurate as well. I am really amazed if nobody else has noticed it, which is why I was hoping it is something wrong on my end (country settings or what-not).
Only after checking and verifying all those things, do I take it to the forum here to see if it can be resolved, thinking Ernie might be interested in checking it out. I don't need any further "evidence", as I have plenty already, but never mind that; rather, go check for yourself...
