Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I have this in my fsbuild2.cfg:

[MS-FLIGHTSIMULATOR]
FS_HOME=\\FLIGHTSIM\P3D v4
ACTIVESKY=\\FLIGHTSIM\USERS\JHARN\APPDATA\ROAMING\HIFI\AS_P3DV4\WEATHER
FSX_PLAN=F:\DOCUMENTS\Flight Simulator X Files

The FS_HOME entry properly identifies the network paths to my addons and the Active Sky entry functions correctly. However, when I use a network path for FSX_Plan:

FSX_PLAN=\\FLIGHTSIM\USERS\JHARN\DOCUMENTS\FLIGHT SIMULATOR X FILES

I get this message:

Created FSX.pln (xml) file F:\Personal Data\Flight Simulator X Files\KBWI-KPWN.PLN

Recognize that FSBuild most likely was not intended for a network environment, but as the FS_Home and ACTIVESKY entries are network paths I'm wondering if the FSX_PLAN entry can be forced to use the network.

Its not clear why its not find a network path. Perhaps some level of security it can't get past for some reason.

I recall people would occasionally have this issue in the past. The workaround usually was a to map a drive letter to that Network path then use that drive letter in the fsbuild .cfg file.

Thanks for your reply, Ernie. Mapping a drive did not work. I've reset my network a couple of time, checked sharing and permissions, etc. I can manually move files around the network using Windows 10 file explorer.

The only thing not working is the network path for FSX_PLN. So I'll continue to use the workaround of putting that in the local Docs\FSX Files folder and let ASP fetch it across the network.
