I have the latest update of FSBuild and am running FSX Steam Edition. I have deleted the cfg file and reset the export locations. However, although flight plans get exported to FSX ok, FSBuild seems unable to export to PMDG. Is the fact that I'm using Windows 10 anything to do with this?

Hi, Iain

It's hard to say if it's Win10, but that would be my guess... I would suggest running FSB from whatever way gives you the 'run as' dialog and choosing 'as administrator'. I don't know what the paths are when you are using the Steam edition, but it should be (FSX)\PMDG\Flightplans for a good export.

Thanks for your "run as admin" suggestion, which I have tried and made sure it is pointed to the FSX SE location. Unfortunately no difference. If it is Win 10 I'll just have to live with it.

I assume that FSX is installed in 'program files' or 'program files (x86)' and if that is the case you need to make sure that UAC is turned to its lowest possible setting and the same thing for Windows Defender - and of course, always run everything "as administrator". I have seen reports that it also helps to turn off Windows Error Reporting.

I have tried everything, but no exporting to PMDG 737 NG is possible on my side yet, I don't know what else to do?

Hi,

Are you running Win10? Have you actually installed FSX in a directory called 'c:\fsx'?
