Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I tired to do a short flight from KOKC to KAMA using Auto Generate. The flightplan generated was KOKC IRW J98 MMB KAMA. The route should have been KOKC IRW J78 PNH KAMA. Neither of these routes provided the VOR frequencies. I restarted FS Build and manually loaded the KOKC IRW J78 PNH KAMA route and the frequencies still did not appear.

The flight plan did not provide the VOR frequencies. The main reason I Use FS Build is for the frequencies. This was not a problem until I upgraded to Build 2.4.0.29. I have the October, 2013 Navigraph database loaded.

I confirm what you are seeing with .29 - the same errors occur regardless of which AIRAC provider is used. Frequencies are not shown in any flight plan. The .29 release of FSB has a couple of issues reported that Ernie will have to look at.

Build .29 has a couple of issues that can be annoying - it lacks VOR frequencies and has a tendency to add a phony waypoint at lat 0... long 0... If you don't care about frequencies in the log, then just remove the false waypoint and use the 'build function' after selecting 'build from grid' in the menu. That works fine - otherwise stick with the .27 build. Ernie seems to be tied up with QW work at the moment, but I expect that when he gets a little time he will sort these issues.

I followed your recommendations and this version works fine.

Yet I was not able to load a flight plan on the AirbusX - it shows up but with no route points.

Did you get it working for the Aerosoft AirbusX?

It does do the export to the AXE, but there are issues. Apparently it is set up so that SIDs and STARs are not exported even though the aircraft has the option to import them. In addition, it seems that routes built from the grid are not properly exported at all - only the beginning and end points are present in the exported plan. I haven't paid much attention to this function since I generally hand enter all my route data from the Navlog output. I do hope Ernie stops by soon and takes a look at these issues...

Another issue with AXE is duplicate waypoints: since no Lat/Lon data gets exported there is the possibility of ambiguity for waypoints that have duplicate names. I tried to manually load a leg using J573 and ending at SIE; when I entered SIE I got a page with four choices for SIE and the bus wouldn't let me select any of them.
