Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hey Ernie, is there any chance that in the future you could setup FSBuild so that I can build FP's for FSX and FS9 at the same time? I have several addons that are present in both sims and I switch back and forth between sims because I only have an addon in one sim or the flight I'm doing is with FS9 or FSX guys and so I need to use that sim for us to see each other correctly. As such, it's become a hassle to switch FSBuild between FS9 and FSX especially when I'm doing a flightplan on fairly short notice becuase I have to change more than just which sim, I also have to change what addons since some addons are in FSX and some in FS9. I'd like the ability to setup both FSX and FS9 in the system and then have FSBuild export everything to both sims and all addons with me being able to select which addons I have in which sim or both where there is a FS9 and FSX version available of the addon.

You can already export flightplans with FSB 2.4.whatever... just chose FSX(xml) in addition to the FS2004/FSX option. What you can't do is define multiple base directories so your add-ons lose out on that limitation. I've never tried to put absolute paths for each export option and doubt if it would work - you'd have to handjam the .ini file to try it.

And that's what I'm asking for. I know about the XML output, but that's not where the issue is. It's outputting for both FSNAV and FSCommander, the PMDG addons, ISG's flightplans for both sims since I do have a lot of crossover. That's why I'm asking if that can be a future option to be able to output at all times to both sims and addons in each base directory.

Right, but then I have to open the right FSBuild for the FS version. Is there any way to make it that it outputs for all of them? A lot of my flights I can use for multiple aircraft, so while I may use a 727 on DFW-DEN one day, I may use a 737 the next time. However I might be flying the 727 in FSX and 737 in FS9. As such, I still have to compile the flightplan in FSX and FS9 versions of FSBuild instead of just doing it once and having it available. That's what I'm ultimately hoping to be able to do - have everything I build be available for both sims.

Thanks Ernie, I understand that you can't do everything. I'm just disappointed that I either have to have 2 installations or spend time changing and restarting FSBuild any time I want to change between sims.
