Hi
I created a flight plan using FSBuild which i have just updated to the latest version 2.4 and when my aircraft nears the airport it turns my plane farrrr tooo late to line up with the runway so i end up missing the approach, altitude is not an issue its just far too late for the fmc/flightplan to turn the aircraft to line up with the runway.

Can you please help or point me in the right direction?

I have did flights with both Level-D 767, and quality Wings 757 and they both did the same at different airports.

I have now updated to the latest AIRAC cycle for Quality wings/Fsbuild/Level-d to see if this has any effect on it, but i havent had a chance to check it out yet.

Thanks
Jason

A few thoughts - FSBuild knows SIDS and STARS, not final approaches. In many planes the FMC will not display a destination runway until you select it even if you've selected it in FSBuild. You need to find approach plates for your destination airport and select the transition that best fits your selected STAR; then select the runway and that transition in your FMC. After you've done that step through the FMC plan and make sure you've got it right and that your plane can make the turns required. The bottom line is that you're the pilot and what happens is up to you. US charts are readily available, as are charts for many other countries, and online. If you don't feel like looking around for them, a tool like Navigraph's nDac is extremely helpful and covers a great deal of the world with airport and enroute information.
