Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi all,

It seems like ver 2.4 is stable now.

Are there any problems that still need to be addressed in the 2.4 pre-release ?

If not, next week I will send it to simmarket, and we'll call it a full release.

I still get occassional strange fuel/time calculations. With build 14 I just received another.

Route: KHOU LOA7 ADM KOKC (depart rwy 4/arr rwy 35R)
Cruise: FL280
Alt: KTUL
Reserve: 0:45
Hold: 0:15
Extra: 0:30

Build 14 told me that I needed 9284lbs fuel for the trip and the time was 3:55. The actual trip time was 1:34 I tried both with and without ASV weather, same result. I am using the latest nav cycle 1102.

The old 2.3 build with the same parameters had total fuel 17688, for a time of 2:44. The actual trip time was 0:55.

I'd need more information to re-create the issue. If I could get the entire Navlog that would help.

Mine looks ok also.
Where in your route do you see an occasional difference (calculation or total)?
The part I wonder about is "occasional".
Software (code) should give the "same" results with each build.

In the NAVLOG FSBUILD dont recognize when the A/C enter LLLL it says ----

I have an issue to report. In v2.3 the option to select AS6 (for ASE) in the options is present. However when I applied the 2.4.0.17 patch this option seems to have disappeared and now I cannot select it. Just to check I was not going mad, I uninstalled FSB and reinstalled up to 2.3 to check, and the option was there again.

When you start FSbuild look in the upper left corner.
Do you see version 16 or 17?

Ernie, in my simmarket orders I have only 2 FSBuild files, and they are FSBuildSetup.exe and FSBuild24Update.exe

The FSBuildSetup.exe installs ver. 2.1.1. Can I install v2.4 right ontop missing 2.2 and 2.3 series?

The update applies to any 2.x release, so the installation on 2.1.1 should be fine...
