Need some information please. This is the first time I'm using a commercial flight planner and just purchased FSBuild today . . . wonderful add-on! If I wish to create a flightplan and use SID or STAR, it appears that a runway is chosen by FSBuild. But what if the active runway is different based on the wind direction (I have Active Sky 2004.5 as my weather generator and Radar Contact v4)? Correct me if I'm wrong, but I suppose we edit the flightplan prior to loading it in the FMC? What is the correct procedure?
(1) Log into FS9 first, proceed to departure airport, listen to ATIS to get active runway info, create and build the flight plan, and load into the FMC? or
(2) Create and build the flightplan, log into FS9, go to departure airport, listen to the ATIS for active runway info, and edit flight plan if needed?
Thanks in advance.
