Will you please help me & if what I ask is in a manual will you direct me to it.
Here is my problem. After I choose a flight or buil a flight plan & export it to FSX then save it
Plse tell me at what phase of/from starting fsx can or should I be able to load the flight.
What I've been having to do to get to the saved flight is go through all the motions of creating
the flight right through to flight planner, create a flight then load up FS builds plan. Is there a setting in FSB that I don't have checked Off?
In the begining when I start the user interface I thot I could just set up the usual, aircrft, weather, and then load the flight but when I go to load
there's nothing there.
Wld sure appreciate your help
Tim

Tim,

You have been using the FSBuild program for three years now!

Tim,

Some of your first posted questions on using FSBuild were from about June 2007.
So, naturally I thought you had resolved any startup problems at that time.

Anyway, you must have known that FSBuild supported the aircraft listed on the SimMarket (purchase) site ... correct?

In your post here you want to know how to export flight plan .. but you do not mention the aircraft you are flying?

I use props, heaveys all kinds. I "THOT" at first I could use the plans(load them) into any aircraft. It would be nice if I could print the plans and use them
& fly manually. If I could Vaughan that would make me happy & also give me the format how to get a VOR route While we're talking.I know you already told me and it wld just save me extra work in searching for it.Your call my Friend

Tim,

I use props,heaveys all kinds.
** Ok, so do I.

I "THOT" at first I could use the plans(load them) into any aircraft.
** I assume by "load them" you mean to export the FSBuild plan to your hard drive then import the plan into any aircraft.

The answer is No.

Because, each aircraft uses a different "software code/language".
Some aircraft use FMC, some use GPS, some use basic instruments.
FSBuild exports the same plan to different aircraft in a code specific to that aircraft. You cannot load a Level-D flight plan into a PMDG aircraft, for example.

It would be nice if I could print the plans and use them & fly manually.
** Yes, you can.
Except, remember, FSBuild is using today's real world VORs, waypoints etc.
If you try to manually put a new FSBuild waypoint like, for example,ABCDE, into an old MSFS (GPS) aircraft it will not have it in its old (MSFS) database (Navdata). So it would have to be removed from your "manual" flight plan entry.

If I could Vaughan that would make me happy & also give me the format how to get a VOR route While we're talking.
** Until now I did not know you were talking about a VOR only flight plan.
But, FSbuild will use some VORs and some waypoints. That is a normal flightplan. What is wrong with that?

I am still trying to find out what your problem "specifically" is?
What are you trying to do that is not working?

Thanks for your explanation & you enlightened me alot. I thot right from the beginning that I could make up a pland and fly whatever aircraft I wanted
to.Now that that's out of the way will you plse tell me(give example) how to make up the wild card for getting Vors only between 2 points & if possible include NDB's.
Also,How do I print out the plan please.
This would be greatly appreciated Vaughan.
Thanks in advance :)

Tim,

I did not receive an e-mail notification that you had posted another question.

The answer is:
Use FSBuild's Plan Mode to create your flight plans.

To build your own custom flight plan using only VORs (any combination of waypoints) you have to read the FSBuild2 UsersGuide.pdf "Plan Mode" section.
