I still can't seem to get the winds aloft data to in import to FSB...

Now, I have FSX and all my games on a separate drive than from my O/S drive.... and I have ASX and FSB on this drive as well.... Sooooooo
I point FSB (Active Sky 6) to where I have ASX installed.... "ActiveSky 6 AS6 C:\ACTIVE SKY X\MODULES"... as is shown in the tutorial.... But I am not getting any winds still....

The catch is that ASX put the weather snapshot in ...
F:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\HiFi\XEngine\ASX\Weather (On my drive that the O/S is on... not on my drive that I install sims and their associated programs on)... ASX works fine though....

Sooooooo.... what am I doing wrong or not doing correct???

Did you try the drive F path in your cfg file?

Von is correct.

You have to point it to the folder where your ActiveSky snapshot file is located.

HiFi changed the location of that folder starting with ASX.

Ok... I pointed the Active Sky 6 to... F:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\HiFi\XEngine\ASX\Weather

and still no winds in FSB.... does it matter that it is a different directory from where FSX and ASX is installed??? Because ASX is installed to
C:\ Active Sky X on my game drive. Or maybe I am pointing Active Sky 6 in FSB instead of just Active Sky pointed to it???

Ernie, like so many folks I can't get ASA to load aloft winds into FSB. In the previous poast you indicate that the ASA Snapshot must be pointed to. I cannot find where that file is located in VISTA, as you know there is no document and settings in Vista.

Make sure that you explore all users if you are using vista. If I just use the explorer function and go looing for the weather data in the app data folder in Vista I can't see the files, but when I use the explore all users its there.

I KNOW where my file is.... but just pointing ACTIVE SKY or ACTIVE SKY 6 to it isn't brining in the winds to FSB... and ASX IS updating the file when I run it... BUT in my case where the file is and where I installed ASX is on two different drives... I wouldn't think that would matter if you are pointing FSB to where ASX is putting the file, but, the fact of the matter is I am still not getting winds and have NO clue why....

I'm sure it is something simple that I have not done.... but I have NO clue what it is, because everything looks correct!!
