Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

I've been trying to generate a fp using the daily NAT. I select departure and arrival airport, go into planning mode & select DN.

Then I copy the daily NAT into the FP field so the FP looks like this:

KJFK * VIXUN LOGSU 4950N 5140N 5330N 5420N DOGAL BABAN * EDDF

i use the asterisk because I want FSB to autogenerate the FP from KJFK to VIXUN and then BABAN to EDDF. Anyway this is the FP FSB generates after I click autogenerate:

KJFK HTO MONTT LFV STOOL YQI YQY VIXUN 5046N 5139N 5231N 5323N 5315N CRK UL607 RAVMA SPI UT180 ROLOR T180 EPIN5W EDDF

As you can see the NAT track is completely different.

What am I doing wrong?

I know how to enter the daily NATs.

The point is that when FSB generates the route it doesn't use the daily NAT, it creates a route that has nothing to do with the daily NAT route.

See:


OK inserting TRAKX from the DN. From = VIXUM via TRAKX to = BABAN at FL360. Also look at the LAT/LONG, first one is 4950N

Now this is what FSBUILD generates:



The generated route has nothing to do with the daily NAT.

So what's going on?

Try using the nat designator rather than the waypoints. E.g. VIXUN NATX BABAN. This auto generated fine.

I also tired this , and it gives much better routings.

PS, When posting images, such as screen shots, can you reduce the width, so that it is not necessary to scroll horizontally. The result is that the horizontal scrolling adds nothing extra to the screenshots, and just impairs (or makes impossible) the reading of the message text. The forum sw should handle this better, but unfortunatley does not.
