Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi Guys,

i have a Problem you might could solve

FSB 2.3 wants to export the RTE File to my FSX Directory:

D:\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Flight One Software\Flight One ATR 72-500\Flightplans\xxx.rte

but there is no Flightplan folder in the ATR Folder which was created by the F1 ATR Installer.

There must be an other location but i haven't found it yet. I saved manually routes via the atr fmc and i am able to loade these rte files, but i have no Idea where they are.

any ideas?

Hello again,

Yes there is! You have to show the path to the new folder destination you chose on the FSBuild2.cfg file that is located in the FSBuild folder in your Programs Files folder.

thanks for your answer, but it does not really solve my Problem.

I know that there is a way to modify the cfg file, I did this already for my fsx pln path.

i use FSBuild for many Aircrafts: LDS 763, PMDG 747X, Piper Cheyenne, Wilco Airbus Vol 1 & 2 (Airbus and Piper via FSX PLN File)

I tried to set this line:

F1ATR72=E:\eigene\Flight1\Flight One ATR 72-500\Flightplans

but it does not work.

and i can not change my FS_HOME variable, because it works fine for LDS and PMDG.

any ideas?

Hi Alex,

First check if your FSB version is 2.3.7.2 if not you should update it to this version

Please note that you if you don't have the correct folders you must create them yourself in order for the path in the CFG file to find them.

Although I have the FSX I didn't installed it yet, but I have the F1 ATR 72 - 500 installed for the FS9 and I have the following path for the FlightPlans folder created by the installer;

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Flight One Software\Flight One ATR 72-500\Flightplans

and its working!

I have in the CFG file the path for F1ATR72_RTE=C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Flight One Software\Flight One ATR 72-500\Flightplans

See if you can create a similar one for your FSX and revert informing of outcome

Please note also that each time you change the CFG file , you will have to restart FSB in order for the changes to take effect
