this is taken directly from the 802 airac as downloaded from your website.fsb_aw2 file, scroll down to T420 and you find this...

second line is clearly not the correct waypoint in that list.

I've used this program in the simplest way possible for a long time, i.e. find the airway that crosses this waypoint and 'from - to' it into the list, but I don't understand any of what you replied with!!!!

Should the waypoints listed in the airac ever need editing post installation?

Just as a further bit of investigation (trying to find out why there are often random out of place waypoints in the database) I looked at the 3 links to other info you gave, the last one talks about problems with airway A5, looking at the same fsb_awy2.txt file (freshly downloaded from the website and not even installed in the fsbuild folder) I saw several obvious problems with the data....

just looking through the decimal lat and long there are 4 way points that stand out. PRT, STG, AMF and EAV.

The lat long figures are very different from those around them...

From within fsbuild, when I entered A5 into a flight plan sure enough those 4 way points are not where you'd expect them to be.

I could believe that the last 2 in the list may be part of another airway that shares the same name but there is definately 1 that is just wrong.

I'm not saying anyone is at fault here, but I would like this to be recognised as an issue, maybe with the database or at least explained away.
