Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hi

I'm pretty new to FSBUILD and I'm only using FSX. I'm using FSBUILD 2.3 + the hotfix because I also have the Wilco airbus series.

As far as I can see I have set up the export options in FSBuild correctly. The flightplans I select from FSBUILD are indeed being exported to the places they're supposed to go (e.g. the .pln files and the .rte files). The catch is I can't load any of the .pln files from the FSX Flightplanner!

The .pln files are there in the FSX Flighplanner, I can see and select them but when I hit "load" nothing happens (i.e. The 'OK' button does not become available) and the route doesn't appear. Below are a cpl of pics. The first is a simple .pln I selected that is available in FSBUILD from CYVR-CYYZ. As you can see they're exporting fine, but in FSX when I try to select and load the CYVR-CYYZ.PLN nothing happens. The second is just a pic of my export setup to see if I've done anything wrong?

I really want to use FSBUILD especially for longer flights. As everyone knows, the default FSX FlightPlannner tends to really bugger those up. So any clue as to what's going on here or how I might fix this would be grealty appreciated?

Thanks for all the responses... Kidding:D . I now realize just how difficult it was to resolve the issue because I spent hours trying to figure it out myself. So this is more of an FYI for anyone that runs into the same issue.

There's definitely something that's not playing nice with my particular install of FSX and FSBuild. I think it might be the fact I also have MyTraffic X installed. I should emphasize that this is just a guess. I think the issue might also be airport specific. Nothing I autgened or built within FSBuild that departed from CYVR worked in FSX Flightplanner. I was however able to create a plan from KJFK-EGLL using FSbuild's NATs and it loaded up fine in FSX flight planner.

The work-around I'm using now for the .PLNs that don't load in FSX is to remove the DeparturePosition line in the .PLN file. The result is a bit ugly but it's not a huge issue by any means.

When I create a plan from CYVR to anywhere there's a departure gate line in the .PLN file which always reads:<DeparturePosition>GATE 7 -- GATE MEDIUM</DeparturePosition>
There is no Gate 7 -- Medium at my CYVR in FSX. But even if I change the line to refer to a gate that is in my FSX (e.g. Gate 11 -- Medium) It still won't load in FSX Flightplanner. If I remove the Departure Position line completely the route will then load up in the FSX flightplanner...yay. But there's a slight catch...

In FSX Flight planner when I load up the altered .PLN the "1. Choose departure location" section will read "VANCOUVER_INTL (CYVR) - unknown". Meaning the gate info is "unknown" to FSX Flghtplanner. This means that when you load into the acyual sim the plane can be found sitting near the terminal building but not usually at a gate. 30 seconds in slew mode and I can rectify this so it's not a big deal for me at least.
