Fsbuild-2 Flight Planner

Hello All, Just a quick question. I am new to FSBuild and use the PMDG 738. I have succesfully exported the FSBuild plan to PMDG, and imported the plan to the FMS. The waypoints show up ok, but there is no speed/alt filled out. (just get ---/------ in the PMDG FMS all the time), LoL. Do these have to be added manually?

No, that are your misstake, you haven't fill the entire FMC Data. When you didn't say the FMC how is the Aircraft Weight, Which Flightlevel do you want to take, and with how Cost Indes should the FMC take the Planning, he can't plan the VNav Values. This things you enter on the PerfInit Page in the FMC.

When you would fill up all important thing open the FMC, klick on the first Screen on FMC and then everytime on the right bottom Display Button. WIth this Button you switch to the Next Page, starts with the Ident Page where you can find your actual Airac and other things, then the Position Page, here you can input your position, but isn't necessary because you mustn't allign your IRS (it's not modelled), then you come to the Route Page where you can enter your CoRoute to load the Flightplan. Then you come to the Perf Init Page. There you can Type In the Weights in the upper left side. but you can also click on the Line Select Key next to a weight and the FMC take it for you. Then Below that you must type the CostIndex CI. a good Value for that are 40 to 60. I use normaly 45 or 50. The Cost Index say the FMC that how should plan the flight with climb and descent with avaregly XX tons Fuel per hour. So the Cost Index is accountably for the High and Speed at the Waypoint. Below you could type in how many fuel you must have as reserve. at the Right side you must Type in which is your Final Flightlevel. Then you can type in there you average Wind on the Trip and the Transition Altitude. The Next Side is for the Thrust Settings. You can choose Full thrust Take off or derated Thrust Take of and other Values. Then the Next side is the Takeoff Side. There you must type in in the upper left side the Flaps setting you want to take off. and on the Right Side you Speeds V1, Vr, V2. there you even can fill by yourself or click there and the FMC will give you the speeds.
