I am not getting that choice in the weather menu - only Active Sky 4. Here is the export directory I have for Active Sky 6:
F:\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9\MODULES\ASV6
Now - if I go into the config & type
WEATHERPROG=ACTIVESKY20004-V
then there are NO choices once again in the weather menu with the drop down arrow. However, somehow when I leave it set for Activesky 4, the winds keep shpwing up in the last comumn - even if I have not launched Active sky beforehand.
Two questions - why ARE the winds showing up in the waypoints table- is this actually working?
And - given the path I described above, why can I not ge the choce for the weather program Activesky2004-V?
Once again - here is my config file that seems to be getting me winds aloft data:
[FSBUILD]
AUTOREFRESH_DELAY=1
MAGYEAR=2002
AIRCRAFT=B737-700 w/ CFM56-7B24
SBPC_SERVER=www.vatsim.net
ROUTELINE=1
NATRAKURL=www.natroutes.glideslope.de/html/nats.php3
WEATHERPROG=ACTIVESKY2004
[MS-FLIGHTSIMULATOR]
FS_HOME=F:\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9
AS2004=F:\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9\MODULES\ASV6
[FLY!]
[PS1]
[X-PLANE]
[STARTUP]
CLEARMAP_BEFORE_BUILD
DISPRTEWPTSONMAP
WINDS_ALOFT
AUTOREFRESH_ON
If I change the line to WEATHERPROG=ACTIVESKY2004-V, then when I re-launch FSB, no choices show up - so I have to manually select the export directory again as "ACTIVE SKY 2004:
F:\FLIGHT SIMULATOR 9\MODULES\ASV6
I save the config in the options menu. But then, I return to the config file only to find that the config file is once again altered to be
WEATHERPROG=Activesky2004.
Still a little confused.
