Murf,
Post here a copy of your fsbuild2.cfg file.

Also .. Just for a quick test. You could create directories to form a path to where you think FSBuild is looking. Then copy a real Wx snapshot there.

See if FSBuild gets it.

Hi guys, I am having the same problem. Both programmes are on the same hard drive and full permissions etc. The snapshot file is where it is supposed to be and is updating. But alas no winds in FSB.

Ok,
You told FSbuild the path ok.
But, you did not tell FSBuild to use AS6 Wx data when you build the plan.
Options, Settings, Weather, (dropdown selection arrow) .. select AS6 then save configuration.
Exit FSBuild (this saves it).

Then in your CFG file you will see:
[FSBUILD]
WEATHERPROG=AS6

Murf,

Check your fsbuild2.cfg and make sure the following lines are present in the correct sections :

[FSBUILD]
WEATHERPROG=AS6

[MS-FLIGHTSIMULATOR]
F:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\HiFi\XEngine\ASX\Weather

[STARTUP]
WINDS_ALOFT

If any are missing, that'll be your issue.

Would you believe that what was wrong was that in the config file there was no "R" on the end of weather!!!! :roll:

No wonder it couldn't find it it was looking for "F:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\HiFi\XEngine\ASX\Weathe"... I put the "r" on the end of weather and TA DAAAAAA.... it works now!!!

I KNEW it was going to be something simple and stupid!!! :lol:

I am still confused I cannot any reference to my system of a ASA snapshot file. I have searched everywhere. Again this is a Vista installation. Any ideas would be appreciated.
