Here's what I do :
- I plan my route with SID and STAR in FSBuild. I export to FS9 file format (to ensure radar contact will get sid/star waypoints).
Then i tick "build options / exclude SID/STAR" , and tick "export to ... /PMDG" .. but I untick "export to ... /FS" (in order not to delete my previously exported file).
And now I re-build it So then, my PMDG flightplan has no SID/STAR. I'll be ready to select and activate any SID/STAR within the PMDG FMC, without having to delete any waypoint(which can get me confused as well!).
